Day 9 : Sapporo
Continuing from Day 8, our fancy hotel had a really nice buffet in the morning.
The plan today was quite simple. Check into our Airbnb and then wander the city. Here’s another room tour:
Nothing crazy but we did end up at the top of another observatory overlooking the street and a park.
Funny story, at the top of the observatory there was one of those fortune machines. Of course JJ and I both had to try it.
The little paper it spits out gives you life advice, things to avoid, and then your overall fortune.
Mine was pretty average. It basically said I had “okay luck,” that I should smile more, and that I should avoid buses. No explanation. Just… avoid buses.
Then JJ opened his.
His said he would have GREAT fortune, especially with MEN AND WOMEN.
Not just women.
Not just people.
Specifically men and women.
I absolutely did not let him forget that detail. I must have brought it up at least ten times that day.
We had a pretty good laugh about it.
We ended the day with some appetizers and udon.
